02 → Spacing Out — Design + Topology Exhibition
A collaborative exhibition between the UGA Mathematics Department and the UGA Arts Collaborative. I worked alongside mathematicians to translate topological concepts into visually engaging experiences, curating an exhibition that showcased the collaboration between mathematics and art students.

Fall 2024
My primary responsibilities included designing promotional materials and creating a display case that served as the entry point to the exhibition. I coordinated with the venue director to meet all signage and print needs, adapting to constraints such as prohibitions against hanging materials on walls, limited electrical access, and the need for effective wayfinding in the library space.
To unify the exhibition’s visual identity, I developed a cohesive design system for both promotional and informational materials. I selected monospace typefaces to reflect the mathematical foundation of the work, pairing simplicity with bold colors. Gradients also appeared throughout the exhibition, from the display case backdrop to illustrations of various knots and imagery of 3D forms.
By integrating sculpture, 3D modeling, and graphic elements, I demonstrated how thoughtful design can communicate complex subjects and turned abstract mathematical landscapes into immersive experiences.
